Upturn...??

I cannot really recalled when exactly the upturn (in my industry) started... Probably around 6 months ago. It came fast and hit us like a wave. Everyone is scrambling for resource as our company downsized a bit during the downtime in past 1~2 years.

Now we are hiring again...
Retrenched last time... hire now... Dun understand... sigh...

For me, it's busy days in the couple of months... Holding and juggling quite a number of balls. Trust me, I dropped some... Wonder if my bonus or pay rise will be good this year (if there is one!).

One good time that is going to happen is... I'm going to be a small boss! (not father yet :( )
Investing as a small shareholder in some business with some people. Finally!

US Trip (23-26 March'10)

It was last minute arrangement.
I was only being told to fly to US to attend some internal discussion a few days earlier.
My wife was asking... "Fly all the way just to attend a few days of meeting?"
Well... desperate times call for desperate measures... :p

This time around I was not going to San Francisco like what I usually go, but rather a "City of Trees"... haha
I also called it a "Land of Potatoes"... haha

Hmmm... original Hooters!! Unfortunately no chance to visit... :(

It was both business and leisure during the trip.

Went to my 1st ever live ice hockey game! Cool... ;)

Team building day. We went hiking and for some hot spring! You scrub my back... I scrub your back... hahaa. That's what you call team-building man!
