Reservist (In Camp Training)

What so special about this post?
Not that it's about the in-camp training or not because it's being a while since last post, but rather, it's because this is my first posting written on my blackberry! Cool...?

So do not expect any fancy photos. No camera or camera phone in camp, remember...

Before I go into recent days in camp, I like to mentioned... Spurs just beat Chelsea to clinch the League Cup on sunday! YES!!!
I was watching the game till 2am before reporting to the camp on monday morning. Total stone face due to lack of sleep... But totally worth the sacrifice!

This might just be my last ICT. Hmmm... Might just miss the days with my reservist friends...

Busy...

Sigh... It's been busy for me in the last couple of days... Work, wedding preparation and business discussion...

In fact, I had a couple of things to talk about or pictures to post here. But just to tired and not much time to do it.

Things like my recent valentine day... went "River AngBao" and Chingay... my coming reservist... $10 Million ToTo... and some other thoughts...

Next time if I'm still in mood to talk about them...

Back to work now... got to rush these works before my reservist next week... :(

Kampong Days?

During the CNY these few days, I visited a few relatives (GF's too) who are staying in Malaysia and also "kampong" area. How often do you still see this in Singapore?!

We were caught in jam for hours on our way back... Brought back memories for those days stuck in Causeway... This time round I have my bro's PSP to entertain me! :p

Reunion Dinner

Tomorrow is the 1st day of Lunar New Year and this coming year is the "Year of RAT".

According to Chinese customs, on the eve of new year, all family members will gather together for reunion dinner. There is no exception for my family as well whereby my Bro and Sister-in-law came back to my place, except we are having lunch instead of dinner. This year we have a new family member joining us for the "reunion lunch". :) She is none other than my cute little niece. My GF also joined us too.

Before we dig in on our lunch, we paid respect to my late father. I'm sure he is happy to see all of us, including his grand-daughter, get together today.

Ok, it's time for the reunion lunch! Check out the feast! Usually people will have steamboat during this time; the circular shape of the steamboat symbolizes "Tuan Yuan" or reunion.

We also have "Fa Cai Yu Sheng"! And this is how people do it... Huat ah!!

Craving for Bak Kwa (Pork Slices)? See what we got... The one from the super long queue and $50 per kg shop at Chinatown! Well... I did not queue for it, one of our relative gave it to us. I hate queuing, remember...? Ha...

Edison Chen Sex Scandal

It seem to be getting out of portion as it is all over the places (internet, newspaper, tv...etc). I might just look like living in stone-age cave if I don't talk a bit about it... err... or I'm just another kpo and inconsiderate blogger. :(

Yes, I am referring to the recent Edison Chen's sexual photo exposure which involves some other well-known actresses.

Hmmm... to be honest, I do not even know the actor's name till this happened. But I do have some impression of him acting in movies together with Andy Lau or/and Tony Leung if my memory did not failed me. Edison gave me the impression that he might be the next generation of "stylo" actors. This incident might just bring him up to the next level! (Or the opposite down direction?!)

As the saga continues, there are news about how the pictures came about from reparing spoilt PC, debating fake or real photos, which actresses involved, public apologies, suspects arrested... etc. I bet this will be going on for a while. For those kpo people interested in juicy news, you are perhaps in for a good treat. But for others (including the fans of the actor and actresses), it might just be some more weeks of torture.

Guess Edison and his "companies" will not be enjoying the coming Lunar New Year huh...

Off-Site Seminar on Friday

I wake up at 6am yesterday... Perhaps the earliest I have done for work in the last 4 year (other the Standard Chartered Run)?? I was going to attend a company seminar held at a hotel along Beach Road. Since I decided not to drive there, I had to wake up early to catch the MRT. It's fun and enjoyable to have the experience again; catch the morning train with many people going work and schools. Err... but maybe not everyday. :p

Hmmm... it's definitely refreshing to smell the early morning air.

Was walking past this pretty cool building (ParkView Square) when I decided to bring out my camera.
